Fallen PPE, August
In August, the daily number of new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Washington DC is averaged at 59, the same as in July. Precaution is still the norm. However, my approach to this obsession with PPE on the streets has evolved since late last month.
On top of collages of masks and gloves posted in previous months, I started to exhibit the surroundings of some individual PPEs. Therefore, posted images in August jumped to 72 from 14, 19, and 21 in May, June, and July respectively, enough to thread them together as a clip above.

Seven masks and eight+one gloves: things evolve
I enjoyed composing them but slowed down the postings in the middle of the month. The PPEs seemed to be found less by the end of the month.
We are still in the tunnel. There is light on the other side. It’s a journey we have to go through, inspecting within ourselves.
