After a week from the collage of anti-looting boards, I roamed the some of the same streets in Washington DC and got to Black Lives Matter Plaza. The City’s facade evolved. Some shops put boards down, raising some confidence. But many of the remaining ones were still platforms to speak out of the movement.
New paintings emerged. Someone added their takes top of some existing ones. While some boards were just painted over with plain colours to cover up the messages. These transformations became a fascination during this time of uncertainty.
