Unfortunately, there were not many beer options in Jamaica. Frankly, they did not get me excited either. From prior research, it wasn’t a surprise. At some point, I even slipped into alcopop beers.
That got me to try something else, especially, their local rums and cocktails. Besides, I didn’t drink very much there for pretty much the same reason as the Toronto trip.

Side note: I was in Jamaica for a visa run and back in Washington DC in mid-March before the lockdown. A few days later, I came down with a fever and a sore throat. It was a concern but I felt better and recovered after a good rest. That was possibly from a seasonal hayfever and lot of smokes. Life goes on, nonetheless.
