Something weird happened while transferring files from the memory card. The backup hard drive did not display the errors but the files were definitely corrupted and could not be retrieved. Anyhow, I liked how it rendered the misinformed pixels. This only keeper of the three fault images was taken at a night fair for Loy Krathong Festival in Bangkok.
Seriously, this is only abandoned chair I found in Bangkok in my Thailand trip last year. No wonder why I was amazed by dumped furniture on the streets of Sydney when I moved to Australia.
To me, the most enjoyable transport in Bangkok must be Chao Phraya Express Boat Service. Chao Phraya River is the bloodline of Bangkok. All sort of activities happens along the waterway, creating a vibrant livelihood, unlike the enclosed views you get from the road. You can capture people and their relationship with water as well as amazing abstract urban landscape while feeling the fresh air.
Go with the Flow music slideshow starts from the trip from Central (Sathorn) Pier, which is conjunct with the end of Skytrain line at Taksin Station, to Wang Lang (SiriRaj) Pier.

This trip was the first time I visited Thailand since I moved to Sydney in 2001. That was a very long time for an ex-pat to return to homeland.
My view to the country changed around the use of the medium of that time–photography. And I also started to use it as video projects.
Bangkok, I still love this fucking city.
I was not meant to document Stilgherrian’s first journey outside Australia but while looking through the Thailand trip archives, it was interesting enough to publish pictures of him in different back drops new to him. The trip was also my first visit back to my homeland in six years. So I needed time for my own and he joined me later. Admittedly, ten days in the Kingdom was surely not enough and I never stopped moving. The result was an extremely intense holiday for him. However, he gave very unique observations on Bangkok different from most tourists or even locals would consider.

I still have got some materials from Thailand trip months ago. Whenever we got a taxi in Bangkok except on the drunken night, I took a chance to get a collection of taxi drivers’ worship: Buddha images, famous abbots, amulets of luck with or without a garland. These auspicious decorations are believed to prevent road accidents and bring more customers.
Please note that the second image is not a taxi but it just fits the theme perfectly.
We do not have travel so far to discover a filthy toilet, just in a pub in Sydney. This could be one of Stilgherrian’s series but it fits my theme too. Now this image is published, I have to live with it forever.
